This broader definition of productivity now takes into account factors such as innovation, customer satisfaction, and the development of new products and services.
With the advent of digital technologies and the rise of knowledge work, productivity has also come to encompass the ability of individuals and organizations to harness technology so as to increase efficiency, creativity, and collaboration. In this sense, productivity is no longer just a measure of how much is being produced, but also how well it is being produced, and how it is being leveraged to create value for all stakeholders.
