In simple words, emotional intelligence (EI) sometimes also called emotional quotient (EQ) is the ability to understand, control and develop your own feelings, while also being empathetic about the feelings of people around you. To be an exemplary leader, you have to understand how your emotions affect others and how you use those experiences to manage people efficiently.
