Sometimes the biggest hearts come in the smallest packages. Just ask Sue Rogers, the founder of The Mia Foundation, a nonprofit animal rescue in upstate New York. For the last eight years, her small but mighty Chihuahua MacKenzie has served as the de facto love ambassador at the shelter, which is devoted to giving animals born with disabilities a fighting chance at a good life. Kenzie, as she's known, is only four pounds, but she delivers outsize mothering snuggles, nose kisses and companionship to every sick and disabled creature at the facility, regardless of their size or handicap.
